The People’s House: Up Late

As the sun sets, join us for a celebratory series of late-night activations at the Museum of Sydney in association with the exhibition The People’s House: Sydney Opera House at 50. The dynamic event series will showcase the incredible contribution the Sydney Opera House has made to our cultural landscape and the special place it holds in the hearts of Australians.

Performance is the beating heart of the Sydney Opera House, and we want to celebrate Australia’s busiest performing arts centre. On the second Thursday of each month, the festivities will take place inside and outside as some of our most exciting musicians and performers take up residence on the forecourt of the Museum of Sydney.

In November, celebrate the end of the People’s House: Up Late program, come join a night of music and performance by Soul of Sydney.

Inside the Museum of Sydney, explore the museum after hours and experience The People’s House: Sydney Opera House at 50 exhibition by night, watch a curated selection of short films related to the Opera House and enjoy food and drinks from This Way Canteen.

Members get more: get 10% off food and drinks at This Way Canteen.
