Dating back to 1803, Vaucluse House is one of Sydney’s most treasured harbourside estates. Ten hectares of picturesque gardens and grounds stretch down to the water’s edge, making this venue a highly desirable location for your wedding ceremony, reception, wedding photography or family gathering.
Elizabeth Bay House
Elizabeth Bay House is one of Sydney’s best-kept secrets, situated above Elizabeth Bay with majestic views across Sydney Harbour and beyond. Built by the fashionable architect John Verge, and home to colonial secretary Alexander Macleay and his family from 1839 to 1845, Elizabeth Bay House was known as ‘the finest house in the colony’. With its impressive colonial façade and elegant furnishings, it is perfectly suited for your smaller, intimate wedding ceremony and reception or cocktail-style event.
The Mint is ideal for a creative and memorable wedding, offering sophisticated, contemporary event spaces juxtaposed with magnificent historic arches, decorative staircases, stained glass windows and a Juliet balcony. The raised lawn in the courtyard is a special place for your wedding ceremony or long dinner event, with the historic buildings surrounding it providing a picturesque backdrop.
Hyde Park Barracks
The Hyde Park Barracks, built in 1819, is a UNESCO World Heritage–listed site in the heart of historic Sydney. The handsome colonial building is an elegant backdrop for celebrating your special event or occasion in the southern courtyard, whether it’s an intimate wedding ceremony or bespoke marquee soiree.
Elizabeth Farm is a picturesque rural property. The grand 19th-century carriageway offers a dramatic entrance for you and your guests. The wide sandstone verandah and historic interior will leave a lasting impression, as will the glorious garden – home to some of the oldest surviving exotic trees in Australia.
Rouse Hill Estate

Rose Seidler House
The striking design, well-proportioned grounds and sweeping views of Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park make Rose Seidler House a spectacular setting for your outdoor wedding ceremony, cocktail reception or special event. The house, interior and grounds have been carefully restored to their original 1950s glory, showcasing one of the finest examples of mid-20th-century modern domestic architecture in Australia.
