The People’s House: Sunday Sessions

This summer, join us at the Museum of Sydney for a fun, creative and captivating series of monthly activations for the whole family.

Coinciding with the exhibition The People’s House: Sydney Opera House at 50, this program will bring together artists, musicians, performers and other creatives connected to or inspired by the World Heritage–listed architectural masterpiece.

Each month there will be a variety of free and ticketed, fun-filled and insightful activities to take part in.

You can listen to fascinating talks, join a choir, master new dance moves on the museum forecourt, create cardboard crowns, capture musicians and dancers performing live in our drawing workshops, and much more. Families can take part in a scavenger hunt that will have you exploring every nook and cranny of the exhibition.

Relax on the forecourt with DJ La Foxy Fuzz and enjoy delicious food and beverages from This Way Canteen.

Members get more: Enjoy first access and a 20% discount off all ticketed workshops and a 10% discount off food and beverages at This Way Canteen.
