Sonic Spaces
Join us for an intimate series of music performances in one of the city’s most unique spaces, the hammock room at the UNESCO World Heritage–listed Hyde Park Barracks. Originally housing convicts, the hammock room is steeped in history and personal stories.
Experience the hammock room in a different way as you listen to some of our best and brightest musicians in this intimate setting. Can music change the way a space makes you feel? And can a space change the way you interpret music?
Immerse yourself in an audiovisual experience with atmospheric lighting, projected imagery and surround sound. From the comfort of a hammock, soak up the sounds of some of Sydney’s most interesting and diverse artists exploring a range of genres.
Kick off the night with a drink from the Archie Rose Distillery Co bar between 5-6pm in the Hyde Park Barracks courtyard before heading up into the hammock room. Members get a 10% discount at the bar.
