Naabami (thou shall/will see): Barangaroo (army of me)

A selection of images recently acquired from Brenda L Croft’s series Naabami (thou shall/will see): Barangaroo (army of me) will be on display at the Museum of Sydney.

The images showcase contemporary First Nations women Croft has identified as embodying the spirit of Cammeraygal woman Barangaroo. The tintype photographs honour this spirit through their imposing size and striking, almost metallic, black-and-white presence.
