2 Oct 1964 - new Gladesville Bridge opened
#OnThisDay 2 October 1964 the new Gladesville Bridge in Sydney was officially opened by Princess Marina, Duchess of Kent. The new six lane concrete arch designed bridge replaced the 1881 single lane / tramway bridge across the Parramatta River.
