MHNSW announces new CEO

We have some exciting news! We have a new CEO!

We are very happy to announce Mary Darwell as the new CEO of Museums of History NSW for a 12-month period.

Mary is the former CEO of the Sydney Harbour Federation Trust and the former CEO of Arts NSW and until today has been the Executive Director of State Records NSW.

Highly respected by the creative arts industry, she has had an outstanding career in both the private and public sectors and is recognised for her leadership of cultural infrastructure projects such as the Walsh Bay Arts Precinct.

We thank the outgoing acting CEO John Vallance for agreeing to support Museums of History over the past months in addition to his job as State Librarian.
