Cataloguing Museum Collections

This internship provides the opportunity for a student to gain valuable collections management experience through assisting with cataloguing collection items from two of Museums of History NSW’s museums.
Based at The Mint in Sydney CBD and working closely with the Registrar, the intern will undertake cataloguing of nineteenth-century photograph albums and documents from the Rouse Hill Estate and Justice & Police Museum collections.
The student will gain skills in object handling and working with collection databases, and an understanding of the day-to-day work involved in collection management.
