A note about the index

The volume, printed in 1924, provides details of railway employees who worked for the New South Wales Government Railways and Tramways and who lost their lives as a result of their service in the First World War. Details recorded include name, branch and military unit. NSW State Archives has recorded the military units as printed - it is possible that there are errors in the original record and readers should verify military information with records held by the Australian War Memorial and the National Archives of Australia.

All the information provided on the Roll of Honour is recorded in this index.
