The Sovereign Room

Situated on the ground floor of the Rum Hospital building and named in honour of the 1200 tonnes of colonial gold minted onsite, this brightly coloured room is the ideal flexible workshop space.

Tables can be arranged in a U-shape configuration or clustered groups. In the evening, it transforms into a perfect cocktail space.

The Sovereign Room features the following integrated audiovisual facilities, ready for you to easily connect a laptop and run your event:

• 65” LED screen with HDMI connectivity
• simple videoconferencing via the screen (including camera and in-built microphones ready for you to connect your VC hardware such as Microsoft Teams, Skype or Zoom)
• whiteboard or flip chart (on request)
• complimentary wi-fi.

Food and beverage services in our small meeting rooms are provided exclusively by Pearl Catering. Pearl’s team of restaurant and catering professionals bring a true commitment to event management, creativity, and innovation.

After a simple catering option? Guests hiring our small meeting room spaces can also take advantage of a simple drop-off catering option via our onsite café, the Bullion Store, also by Pearl Catering.
