About Alacoque Dash
Artist Alacoque Dash has experience working with diverse communities. She is passionate about facilitating access to the arts and championing diversity, and has a strong focus on supporting First Nations artists and communities. She believes in the importance of participation in, rather than just the consumption of, the arts.
Dash spent over a decade at the Art Gallery of NSW, contributing to major initiatives such as the Sydney Modern Project, the Brett Whiteley Travelling Art Scholarship and Art After Hours. She has also worked as a producer and educator with institutions including Powerhouse and the Department of Education.
