Members Hour: Rose Seidler House

Welcome to Members Hour: Rose Seidler House

Experience ‘the most talked-about house in Sydney’ in this members-only tour. Rose Seidler House was designed by Harry Seidler AC OBE (1923–2006) for his parents, Rose and Max, and remains one of the finest examples of mid-20th-century modern domestic architecture in Australia.

The furniture and furnishings in Rose Seidler House are today arranged as Seidler originally designed them in 1950, and as used by his parents from 1950 to 1967.

Hear stories of the Seidler family and learn about this superb piece of modernist architecture and its collection as our museum experts guide you around the iconic building.
