Cyanotypes Workshop
Photography and installation artist Izabela Pluta will lead this hands-on workshop where participants will explore the early photographic process of cyanotype.
You’ll create your own striking blue-toned artworks, drawing inspiration from the rich history and gardens of Vaucluse House. Learn simple techniques and experiment with natural forms and textures.
About Izabela Pluta
Polish-born, Australian-based artist Izabela Pluta has developed a unique visual language of spatial and representational means to signal a different modality of vision. She works across film-based photography, collage, video, sculpture and installation, disrupting traditional narrative structures and interrogating the authority of images as records. Pluta’s work has most recently been presented in significant exhibitions at the Australian Centre for Contemporary Art; University of Queensland Art Museum; UNSW Galleries; the Art Gallery of New South Wales; Bundanon art museum; State Gallery of Art, Sopot, Poland; and Spazju Kreattiv, Malta. She is an Associate Professor in the School of Art and Design, UNSW, and is represented by Gallery Sally Dan-Cuthbert, Sydney.
