Collage workshops for kids
Join the Sydney Collage Society for a hands-on workshop inspired by Joan Ross’s immersive digital artwork Let’s party like it’s 1815, currently on display at the Museum of Sydney.
Using found imagery, bold colour and texture, kids will create their own collage artwork that responds to the impact of colonisation on our environment by layering landscape and other natural imagery against objects not necessarily found in nature.
The Sydney Collage Society will expertly guide participants step by step through an art-making process that will see kids learn new techniques and explore their creative potential.
- No experience is necessary, all materials provided
- Suitable for ages 8+
- Parents and carers must remain with participants for the duration of the workshop but don’t require a ticket
