The Mint Clerk’s Room & Macquarie Balcony

Located on the first floor overlooking Macquarie Street, this elegant room retains many original heritage features from when it served as a key office as part of the Royal Mint.

It is a flexible workshop space with tables that can be arranged in a U-shape configuration or clustered groups. This space is hired in conjunction with the colonnaded outdoor balcony, making it the perfect spot for outdoor dining and cocktail events.

The Mint Clerk’s Room features the following integrated audio-visual facilities, ready for you to easily connect a laptop and run your event:

  • 75” LED screen with HDMI connectivity
  • simple videoconferencing via the screen (including camera and in-built microphones ready for you to connect your VC hardware such as Microsoft Teams, Skype or Zoom)
  • whiteboard or flip chart (on request)
  • complimentary wi-fi.

Food and beverage services in our small meeting rooms are provided exclusively by Pearl Catering. Pearl’s team of restaurant and catering professionals bring a true commitment to event management, creativity, and innovation.

After a simple catering option? Guests hiring our small meeting room spaces can also take advantage of a simple drop-off catering option via our onsite café, the Bullion Store, also by Pearl Catering.
