The Gold Melting Room, The Mint

The innovative design of The Gold Meeting Room accommodates 120 people theatre-style or 72 people cabaret-style, providing great flexibility for your next corporate event. Automated cedar louvre screens allow full control of natural light. Motorised glass panes allow flow of fresh air and access to the expansive sandstone courtyard. The stylish bar, set against a beautiful old sandstone wall, also opens to the courtyard and is perfect for pre- or post-meeting refreshments. All spaces are fully accessible.

The Mint also has a range of break-out meeting spaces available for hire before, after or during your event, including The Messenger’s Room, The Boardroom, The Sovereign Room.

The Warrane Theatre, Museum of Sydney

The theatre seats 120 people and is fully accessible, and the flexible foyer area, included in your venue hire, is the perfect space for all your catering needs.

Videoconferencing

Enhance your next event at The Mint or the Museum of Sydney with our videoconferencing technology, increasing engagement with your onsite and virtual guests.

Our videoconferencing technology includes:

  • two cameras: presenter (fixed rear), audience (portable front)
  • two handheld microphones
  • adjustable lighting
  • dedicated high-speed internet (wi-fi or cabled)
  • AV technician
  • data projector
  • screen
  • lectern with microphone
  • internal PA system
  • presentation tool (clicker).

Standard USB/HDMI connections for the videoconferencing laptop are located at either the lectern or AV bio box. Both cameras have customisable framing options (eg tight lectern, wide stage) for your event requirements. A third-party supplier is necessary if you require webcasting/livestream services, additional camera angles, multiple screens or professional filmography (including lighting options). Our dedicated in-house audiovisual services team can provide quotes and supplier recommendations accordingly.
