Volunteer applications now open for Sydney Open 2026
The premier open-building event in NSW, Sydney Open takes visitors into buildings and spaces that are rarely open to the public. Since 1997, we have opened the doors of more than 550 buildings for fans of architecture and heritage to explore. On Sunday 1 November Sydney Open returns, showcasing more than 40 sites across the CBD.
Every year, Sydney Open is made possible by our incredible team of volunteers. From ticketing support to queue management, wayfinding and greeting our guests, their contribution brings our event to life. Every volunteer receives a complimentary Sydney Open ticket, offering the opportunity to explore the city, make new friends and celebrate Sydney’s architectural identity.
